The 127 lush acres of the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden dazzle visitors and residents alike as the campus is located near the San Gabriel Mountains. Skaters of all age take advantage of the 10,700 square feet of excitement at the town’s Bonita Skate Park. Nature enthusiasts rave about Wilderness Park, which has 120 acres of trees, plants and animals, in addition to a recreation area and small stream. For over 60 years, aspiring musicians and their fans have gathered annually in Arcadia for the Arcadia Festival of the Bands. Sponsored by Arcadia High School and its music club, this festival is well-known and attended throughout southern California. Arcadia residents also look forward to the yearly Arbor Day Celebration at the arboretum as well as winter’s Holiday Snow Festival.
