For residents who crave outdoor recreation, Carson is home to seventeen beautiful parks and mini-parks. Dominguez Park has a jogging path, aquatics center, baseball diamond, playground and several multi-purpose courts for Carson residents to enjoy. The International Printing Museum, which has one of the largest collections of antique printing machines in the country, is located in Carson : many of its presses have been used in Hollywood movies. The museum hosts several events throughout the year. For avid shoppers, Carson’s Pavilion South Bay shopping mall should more than suffice: resident anchor stores include Ikea, Target and Sears.

Carson has several events throughout the year for residents to enjoy. Every August, the televised Skaters Paradise Event takes place and features pro skaters and bands. In October, the International Printing Museum holds the Los Angeles Printers Fair, a mecca for graphic designers and those interested in the printing industry.
