Murrieta Homes for Sale

Located in the southwestern part of Riverside County, Murrieta is one of California’s fastest growing cities. Recognized as the safest city in Riverside County, and the second safest city in the United States, Murrieta is considered to be an excellent place to live and raise a family. Though once sparsely populated due to its proximity to the railroad, Murrieta all but became a ghost town when the railroad came to an end. The 1980’s changed everything for Murrieta as it was then that the Interstate 15 was constructed and Californians started moving in. After the construction of the interstate, new homes were soon built and residents from San Diego and Riverside eventually began migrating to the revived town. Today, Murieta is the largest city in southwestern Riverside County.
